My group was confused with this project. We focused more around the live family entertainment when I think we should have been focusing more on the circus part. My group has not finished our project yet. I think I contributed a lot with the project.

I think that black Friday and cyber Monday are a good way to start peoples Christmas shopping.  Buying Christmas presents can get really expensive so these two days give people an opportunity to get a head start on the stopping, but also getting a lot of good deals.  I went black Friday shopping this year for the first time. I left my house at 4:30am. I honestly have to say I thought there was going to be a lot better deals.

Blog Post - Promotions

1.List 3 specific ways you could provide a promotional mix for your sports drink.
·        Commercials on UNH’s local TV station/radio
·        Coupons in UNH’s magazine
·        Coupons sent to the dorms.

2. Based on class discussion and presentation of information describe how you could use the various types of print media to help promote your drink. Specifics related to your drink and your school are required.
I could use the various types of print media to help promote my drink, Catz. In the UNH local newspaper I could out an article about why the students and facility should drink Catz instead of other sports drinks. I can also send direct mail to all of the students dorm rooms, teachers class mailboxes etc. with coupons of by one pack of Catz, get the other free. Finally, I can have posters of the Catz hanging up around the ice arena, football field etc. to promote my drink to everyone.

3. Explain why you priced your drink? What strategy did you use. If you didn't have a strategy think and explain why your price would benefit the sales of your drink or why it might hinder the sale of your drink.

I priced my drink by using the strategy of what I think a good price of a sports drink is. I based it off of what I would pay for a sports drink at a gas station, sports game, etc then made that my price of Catz.
